This petition is for the cancellation of a show that has recently premiered on Amazon Prime known as “Harlem” a show that reenforces/perpetuates negative stereotypes about the black community and anti-black misandry of heterosexual Black men. Shows like these not only contribute to the negativity and mistreatment of heterosexual Black men, but they also cause damage to the image of heterosexual Black men, which is constantly attacked on a regular basis in media. If you’re sick of the negative portrayal of heterosexual Black men and the Black community as a whole and the damage it does to our images, then let’s send a message that this will not be tolerated and we will not support anything that damages the Black male/Black community image as a whole any further.
