Amazon is a Multi Billion Dollar Company that care’s for Amazon Customers but not so much for Amazon Flexer’s. Gas prices are on a all-time high with them being $5.00 to $7.00 per gallon. I would pick up a Block that’s $100 but I would have to spend $65 for gas so I’m only gaining $35 at the end of the day or per shift depending if I have another block and that’s not including if I have to go back to the warehouse to return packages that customers don’t want anymore. They also don’t pay us extra to finish a block that was more than we can handle. Amazon provides us with so many packages for such a little amount, and we would end up 30 minutes to an 1 hr away from the ware house and that’s without returning back. It’s not fair for Amazon Flexer’s, especially for Flexer’s who depend’s on this job, to be paid so little while using their own vehicles! I would only see $120-$180 blocks when it’s raining, thunder storming, snowing or when you only have 5-10 minutes for the block to begin, meaning you would have to be at the warehouse clicking your day away or speed to the ware house to hopefully get a decent amount for that block. Amazon really needs to consider how much fuel we use per day. These blocks are not helpful with the amount they provide to us. While fuel is still rising we are stuck with the same prices per blocks. We the Flexer’s work so hard to give great customer service and go beyond our expectations to deliver the customer packages in a mannerly time. But most flexors would like an increase on these blocks to provide Proper fuel to also get paid a decent amount.
