I am a small press publisher and our titles are undercut by Amazon upon release. But we're also being squeezed out by "traditional publishing model" as bookstores, review venues and traditional distributors exhibit bias against small presses using POD technology for production through something like Lightning Source. It's like being in an anvil that's tightening on us.

I will not buy books from Amazon again. I am appalled at what I now know of what they are doing and their tactics...shameful!

I am both an author and a reader. Literacy should not be controlled. Books should have no boundaries. Amazon is greedy and wrong, and I will not stand for it.
