Reading is my escape. Who gives anyone the right to tell me what I can and cannot read? I am 63 years old, I am grown woman. Leave my books alone!

Double standards, where big financially backed literature can stay but indie literature gets taken down, is unfair and harmful to a creative culture.

Freedom of expression should always be defended. If you are offended by something, protest by all means - but don't censor.

These companies are taking away the liberties of hard-working writers who write for a huge audience. Surely if they put warnings on their work then this should be enough? Are books with violence and rape flagged up if they are not in the erotica genre? Probably not. It also takes the freedom away from readers. Who are these companies to say what people can and can't read, and what they can and can't fantasise about?
