"Blue is the Warmest Color" is one of the finest love stories of the modern era. Many people, myself included, believe that it was a perfect representation of people in Gay relationships, and the struggles, questions, etc. that one has when they are trying to define themselves sexually, especially when it goes against what people define as 'normal. The film is a raw, explicit, and intimate story that does not fail to impress those who were captured by its beauty when it was first released back in 2013.

As with many lauded foreign films throughout the years, an English remake sounds practically inevitable. With the star power of Chloe Grace Moretz and Hailee Steinfeld representing such a controversial, undeniably interesting topic, it would no doubt garner much attention through commercial and critical lenses.

English remakes tend to be more accessible, but never too dissimilar in what the original product represents. Seeing such an amazing film brought to America and seen through the eyes of these actresses would bring a unique and interesting take on a classic film.
