For two years, USA customers of Amazon.com have been able to loan many of their Kindle books to another reader for a period of 14 days (publishers decide whether to make individual titles lendable). However, international Amazon customers who have purchased their Kindle books through non-USA Kindle Stores are still not able to lend or borrow Kindle books with other Kindle users. Not only is this unfair to non-USA Kindle book buyers, but it deprives authors of a valuable way to be discovered by new international readers. Amazon should give international Kindle book buyers the same lending privileges as USA customers enjoy.
