Fair Wages for Zara Workers!

Textile workers in Turkey have been working for years for brands such as Zara. The suppliers work the workers under intense scrutiny and abuse their power to enforce the obnoxious standards of the brand. Beyond this, bosses often refuse to pay full wages on time or leave without paying workers anything, and investors seize machines and valuables, preventing workers from doing their job.
The globalization of markets means most brands end up controlling their supplying companies, passing policies which control everything down to the shop floor. Public pressure has recently forced brands to take responsibility for their suppliers' workers, with Zara signing the Global Framework Agreement with IndustriAll Global Union. However, problems persist. Despite months of union-brand negotiation, no meaningful changes have occurred. Meanwhile, Zara continues to make huge profits off the backs of cheap or free laborers.
It's time the brand starts putting action to their words of "responsibility" and "workers rights". It is a basic right to work for adequate pay in comfortable conditions. Hence, we ask that you support these workers' rights!
