Stop the BBC from ignoring the 9 PM watershed
BBC aired the new series of Top Gear on Sunday October 4th. Top Gear has now been moved from its slot on BBC2 at 9 PM to a new slot on BBC1 at 8 PM.
During this show repeated bad language was used. The presenters blasphemed on a few occasions.
I sat down with my family to enjoy a show being aired at a family time. I and my children should not have be subjected to offensive language before the traditional 9 PM watershed.
It is not the right of the BBC to push boundaries and try to normalise blasphemy. The 9 PM watershed is there for a reason and should be respected by the BBC for all people regardless of their faith.
I would like the BBC to remove the policy of allowing any form of bad language including blashphemy in its programming before 9 PM.
I think its important that the BBC respect the watershed and air their programmes without parents having to worry about their children being subjected to bad language.
