Please keep our neighborhood kids together!

We as neighbors and members of the Pilgrim's Landing, Plymouth Rock, Thanksgiving Meadows, Davencourt and Mayflower Harbor neighborhoods ask that you please keep our children together when drawing the boundaries for the new elementary in the North Lehi area. For reference we are the neighborhood on the west side of the freeway.
Our neighborhood is across the freeway from both our current school and the new elementary. With the business traffic here, it creates some challenges for our children. If they want to interact with their schoolmates across the freeway, it could take anywhere from 5-45 minutes to get to their houses depending on traffic. We think our children should be placed together at one school so they are still able to make friends with their neighbors at school. We also think bussing could be simpler and more efficient with just having one school to service.
Please help us continue to build a great community with close friends in our little area. It would be a far different situation if traffic wasn't such a limiting issue as to which friends they can play with and which activities they are able to participate in.
Thank you for your time and hard work!
