Period leave is a long-standing need of female students. The fact is that they are forced to sit in class for the sake of attendance during the days of pain they have to go through every month, but the fact is they are unable to concentrate mentally and physically on their studies. Although period pain varies from person to person, this is the case for the majority of female students.

Therefore, Aikya College Union, Government Engineering College, Palakkad, requests that a perfectly reasonable demand of period leave be taken seriously and necessary steps be taken.
