We just requesting that as a Wolverhampton private hire licensee, that we are no longer limited to only working one base. There are many other councils in the country that allow you to work for two bases. This has the extra benefit of getting work as sometimes you might be waiting for a long period of time waiting for a job on one base. Where working for two bases gives you extra opportunity to work. We feel that two bases will be the perfect round number as any more than that just wouldn't be suitable. Especially when your working for online companies like Uber and bolt, sometimes you do have to wait quite a long time for a job and people can struggle to make a living. So by allowing us to work on two bases would also take the pressure off public funds as we wouldn't need to keep asking for help. We just feel it's time that we can join the many councils around the country that do allow you to work for two bases.
