My teacher in the Boise schools district is adopting a baby named Fredrick whose due date is the 21st of October. You usually still get paid while on maternity leave but because she's not giving birth to the baby herself the Boise school district is saying that she won't get paid while on maternity leave unlike if she was giving birth.
