At NGSC, students are unable to express themselves and their cultures, despite it being claimed as a "diverse and multicultural school". This school attacks identity, culture and diversity. The school exhibits a "no facial hair" policy, which limits many cultures, which facial hair can be seen as 'habitual practice' in islam which translates to 'Suna'. In Sikhism, facial hair is recognised as showing respect to what god created, and NGSC goes against all of that, despite claiming to be "rich in culture and diversity".

The school claims that a ban on facial hair will result in better academic performances, however, this is not true, and students have to take time out of valuable study in order to keep a clean shaven face. 

Some students do not like shaving, as it irritates their skin, results in unclear skin, which can makes students feel insecure about their appearance.

"This school and their negative policies has resulted in a negative impact on my mental health, resulting in my grades being lowered and me being shunned by my place of worship" - Anonymous Student

The maker of this petition wishes to remain anonymous in order to avoid any potential negative sanctions over freedom of speech.
