We as South Park students have been denied on unfair grounds the ability to have a Powderpuff game to raise money for MiniTHON. It is an important issue for both the male and female student body to receive equal treatment, and be allowed the ability to plan events we as a student body are passionate about. The idea for this game is a FLAG FOOTBALL game with referees and the clear message that any roughhousing or aggression would be grounds for punishment. When the issue was brought up at a principle’s advisory committee meeting, the discussion was immediately shut down even though the student was calm and reasonable. Our voices as students are not being respected, or even granted the courtesy of being heard.
