We have endured the lasting effects that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on our schools. Several NJ schools have reported Covid cases since the schools reopened. This has significantly impacted our life by causing high levels of stress, anxiety, and an overall negative impact on mental and physical health.

As we head into the new school year, we need to acknowledge that this pandemic is not over yet, and that students will still be impacted by its presence. Because of this, we earnestly request that New Jersey schools provide remote/ hybrid learning options to support its students.

If this solution is implemented like the last academic year, students will feel supported, as they try their best to maintain good academic standing like in the past academic year.

Please do not force students to jeopardize their health and wellness with requirements to return to the classroom/ overwork themselves in order to succeed when the mental strain of a pandemic is still prevalent.
