I believe in American values and think that it is ridiculous to attempt to silence people in this way

Oppressing the right of free speech is never the proper course of action.

I'm a Democrat, but I'm in favor of free speech on campuses. We won't win hearts, minds or votes by censoring them; and expecting everyone to manage to be politically correct is ableism.

Free speech should be protected especially at a University. You are afraid of differing views at a University?!

I support free speech, and when I was a student at UW all voices were tolerated and given a chance. I am not a fan of the current culture that wholesale endorses the shaming and censorship of unpopular opinions. I don't even agree with many things Milo says, but he has the right to say them--and more importantly all people should have the right to listen if they wish. Don't shame the university by going the way of DuPaul, UC Davis, etc. Uphold the basic inalienable right of free speech.

I thought the left was for freedom of speech? I guess not. Having Milo would be a great experience. If you don't like him then don't come out and see him, but it doesn't make sense to try to ruin other people's entertainment.
