Any girl you ask who go to school would tell you there is no problem with having acrylic nails at school. How is it a distraction? How does it affect our learning? How does it affect YOU teachers?. There is no obvious reason why Girls can not have any form of nail colour on. These "Distractions" that Schools don't allow affect us in a positive way. What if the only way a girl could feel confident was by having nails on? What if a girl could only feel comfortable with nails on as they distract them from other sad events and the only thing they can do is stare at their nails and think to themselves "I can not believe my nails are so pretty, they really make me feel like I'm more powerful and confident in myself" Just to distract themselves from any form of bullying, abuse and other difficult situations. I am calling justice for all girls!!! It is our body, we choose what we do with it. In NO WAY or FORM should somebody be telling US to do what THEY want to ourselves. Send this to your friends and school teachers to create justice for all of us. It may look like a small thing, but it really is a huge deal for us young women. We will not be silenced and this petition will not be deleted. The least we are asking for are sheer colours, like a sheer pink, a white, a light nude. Something Basic.
