I love Texas. I’ve lived here my whole life. I want the state that I love to accept who I am and what I identify as. Everyone should have the option to have documentation that grows with them. I’m a non-binary person and I feel so uncomfortable and sad when I have to pick M or F on documents. I want everyone who is non-binary or gender fluid or any other gender to be comfortable in who they are. This is a step in the right direction to show the country that Texas isn’t the stereotypical southern state; that Texans care about everyone who lives here no matter what.
