Allow Evesham Poll workers to give out "I'm an Evesham Voter" stickers on election day

Allow Evesham Poll workers to give out "I'm an Evesham Voter" stickers on election day
Why this petition matters
During the general election of 2017, the buzz around Evesham Township was why the "I voted" stickers were inconsistently given out at the polling places. College students, kids, and adults were all asking for them as some needed them for class credit, and others wanted them for discounts at local establishments and/or for a display of civic pride that they voted on election day. The local poll workers purchased the stickers at some locations with their own money as the county did not provide them*. One Evesham resident and poll worker, Arnie Silver, suggested having a local business sponsor them for the entire town.
So, then Geoff Baado from Zed's Beer in town offered to donate them since then, and it's been a nice feel-good for the community! Baado redesigned the stickers for an Evesham flair to "I'm an Evesham Voter." Unfortunately, the Burlington County Board of Elections has prohibited the poll workers from giving out stickers on election day. The Burlington County Board of Elections is a multi-partisan board and oversees 40 towns on election day however, this puts a wrinkle in Evesham's civic pride from occurring. Sign the petition to request the Burlington County Board of Elections to reverse its no sticker policy decision. Allow towns in Burlington County to "opt-in" on election day and allow all the poll workers in town to hand out "I voted" type stickers. Any group willing to sponsor non-partisan, non-business stickers for their entire town would work with their municipal clerk for sign-off on the design and distribution of stickers to the poll workers. This would be at no cost to the taxpayers nor impact to the Burlington County Board of Election staff. Let's continue to allow Evesham poll workers to give out the donated stickers on election day!
Please sign the petition in support of Evesham's civic pride! Thank you!
The next meeting of the Burlington County Board of Elections is November 8, 2022 11:00 AM at 50 Rancocas Road, 1st Floor | Mt. Holly, NJ
