Allow dogs access to New Zealand National Parks

Dogs are not permitted in New Zealand National parks under the National Parks Act 1980
This impacts greatly on the exercise, enjoyment and togetherness people and their dogs can have in outdoors New Zealand.
This is a petition to allow access to the Parks for dogs and their owners in such a way as to not threaten wildlife. We respect that a very small number of dogs, particularly those which get lost, can and do threaten and kill kiwi and other species and so its important that permitted dogs are managed and prevented from doing so in giving this access.
We are seeking an amendment to the law that will allow dogs into the Parks on this basis.
