Why are we denied the option to wear cropped vests at English Schools? 

After contacting ESAA and my own county reference point, I was told that full-length vests were simply a requirement despite asking for the reason behind this. This is because there is no justifiable reason. Women need not cover up for 'decency'. Girls and young women are not protected from over-sexualisation by covering their midriff. It seems an antiquated belief that athletes should adjust their usual competition attire because a rule was written decades ago. Athletics as a sport has evolved, thus our county kit should too.
