Many ArtCenter transportation students located remotely or overseas have benefitted tremendously from online studio classes.

We believe that continuing to offer transportation design studio classes online beginning in the Spring 2022 semester (January 2022) and onward, is a necessary and important option to have for these reasons:

-Online learning has proven to be fruitful for us, and we prefer this method of learning

-Some students with financial instability benefit greatly from studying online, since they can focus solely on their education by learning at home

-Covid is still a danger, and many of us feel safer and more comfortable studying at home

Other departments at ArtCenter will continue to offer the online option for their students in 2022, and we believe we also deserve to have this option. 

We would like to see this change addressed through one or both of the following:

- Hyflex option (individuals that prefer online will stay online, while those who would like in-person teaching can be in person)

- Two separate sections for each studio class ( One 100% online and one 100% in person )
