Nurses, techs, CNA’s, mental health associates, and anyone who works in healthcare and can not work from home, are being forced to use PTO if they can not return to work because of testing positive for Covid-19. This is a huge violation of healthcare workers rights, who have worked so hard throughout this whole pandemic. This is especially true because most healthcare workers are not provided with the proper PPE they need (N95s). Many people do not have PTO accumulated for 10 days (the recommended amount of time needed to quarantine from COVID-19) that they can use, and to be honest they shouldn’t have to. PLEASE help us as healthcare workers who can not stay home and do not want to spread the virus to patients who are immunocompromised. It’s time for a change!!!
