The men and women who keep commercial buildings safe in Hartford County are struggling to get by because of low wages and expensive healthcare costs. No one should have to choose between having health insurance and keeping food on the table!

AlliedUniversal, Securitas, SecurAmerica, G4S and SSC have made it clear to their workers that they will fight them tooth-and-nail to keep them from winning a strong contract so they can better their lives.

We, the undersigned, pledge ourselves to stand with Hartford County security officers until they win a living wage and affordable, quality health insurance for their families. Commercial security workers  deserve to be treated with basic dignity and fairness.

We implore the employers to do right by their employees and respect their rights to live a dignified life.
