Allianz Insurance is a big underwriter for many companies involved in boat insurance, including Club Marine, Newave, Elders and others
They have recently stopped insuring people who's primary place of residence is their boat.
If you fall into this catagory this decision is going to effect your insurance options dramatically.
We believe that people who live aboard 24/7 are a much safer risk, than people who don't.
This decision will effect thousands of people who choose to live aboard. As Allianz have made this ruling, we would like to see the data that shows it is necessary and if that can't be provided, we would like the ruling to be reversed.
