The authorities have taken the difficult step to differentiate between people vaccinated ( inclusive of those that cannot be vaccinated due to age ie below 12 or medical reasons) and those that can but choose to exercise their freedom to choose not to be vaccinated. This petition supports this position to support the rights and welfare of the wider society to be safe from COVID-19. Those that choose not to vaccinate may do so, but not at the cost of increasing the risk of those around them. In order to enjoy the same freedoms and their right to choose, they will need to meet measures to render their choices safe and aligned to the freedom and rights of others to enjoy a safe and COVID free environment. So if they need to be tested frequently or to prove by way of Pre-event testing to dine out or enjoy a show. They will need to pay for these measures, a right to mitigate choosing to put the rights of vaccinated individuals at risk. Not vaccinating may be a choice you make but it is also a choice to put others at risk not just yourself.
