Graduation is about the graduates. It is an experience that should be memorable and unique. Decorating caps is a common occurrence at many graduation ceremonies, and could be a tradition worth starting at All Saints. This would make graduation much more memorable, and will make the $90 fee appear more reasonable. This is because, unlike many graduations, the cap and gown are being purchased to keep, and students with siblings who have attended past graduation ceremonies are not allowed to use the older cap and gown. If students must pay and keep the cap and gown anyways, it is beyond reasonable to allow them to personalize their cap. 

This benefits not only the students, who will be able to take fun photos with their special and personal caps, but also the teachers who want the graduates to refrain from throwing their caps and creating a mess halfway through the ceremony. It also creates a more colourful ceremony, where the diversity of students interests is celebrated, and while we do attend a uniform school, our population is far from uniform. For these reasons it is strictly beneficial to allow cap customization for students.
