Greedy and irresponsible businesses producing fake tyres by restoring back worn out tyres to look like original tyres. A layer of grated rubber is pasted around this severely worn out tyres using epoxy glue. Since it is sold slightly cheaper than the original tyres, vehicle users, especially lorry and truck drivers buy and fix them for temporary use. This tyres are commonly called “tayar celup”

However, after some time, this fake layer comes off while these vehicles are on the move on federal and expressways. This compromised tyre condition may cause serious accidents and sometimes innocent lives are lost. We have seen many incidents on the roads where cars roll like a ball while trying  to avoid trucks, which external layers of their tyres suddenly give way and fly in all directions.
We can even find debris from this fake tyres on the roads which pose a danger to motorbikes and small vehicles. Imagine during nite drives on a poorly lighted roads, sudden breaks to avoid such debris will end up with fatal accidents.
As responsible road users, we must not support fake tyre production by not purchasing them.
