HANDS OFF OUR PRESIDNET, ALLOW HIM TO EXCERICE HIS CONTITUTIONAL LIBERTIES.

The Supreme Court Judgement read in Par. 91 “The Court considered various factors. In this case the ECN conducted free, fair, transparent and credible elections both in 2014 and 2019. Furthermore, in Par. 98, The Court ruled that “The applicants have failed to make out a case for any of the relief they were seeking. It follows that the application be dismissed with cost. This deliberate and cowardice attempt by the “Independent Candidate” to influence public opinion that the elections were unconstitutional should be dismissed with contempt!

The “Independent Candidate” and his followers, as well as the AR and their known instigators, are also trying their level best to put our duly and constitutionally elected President under undue pressure to ignore the Supreme Law of the Country, by throwing around demands that all those members of Parliament that have convictions against them be removed from Parliament. Not only is this absurd but it’s against Section 47 of The Namibian Constitution which is very clear who does not qualify to be a member of parliament.

Having taken an Oath under Article 30 of the Namibian Constitution, to uphold and protect this Constitution, you are empowered to excise your Constitutional Right in terms of Article 35 subsection 1 whom you can appoint to serve on your Executive. Its your Presidential Prerogative Guaranteed and Protected by the Supreme Law of this Country.
