I think it's simple enough, it's been an incredibly saddening and terrifying journey for us all over this last year and a half. We have monuments for the lives that have passed during the horrendous wars. Why not show our support to the families & friends who have lost loved ones and respect to the lives lost during Covid-19?! Why not erect a monument to honour these poor souls? 

In the same breath, let's commemorate the incredible hard work of our NHS, key workers & everyone in the uk who has and continues to pull together and help us all to get through this crisis. Let's make this some that is not only going to remind us to be vigilant and aware, but also shows our strength as a nation!!

I think we can all agree that producing a monument such as this will show such appreciation & gratitude for everyone who has done their part during this pandemic.
