The title "Karen" has become ubiquitous in referring to privileged, clueless, entitled white women (and men?) acting like trash, often whining obnoxiously that THEY'RE the ones terribly oppressed. However, I know a few decent women named Karen. I bet most of yall do too. There are even women of color named Karen.
That's why I'm proposing that we start using the term "Ivanka" instead. I don't know a single Ivanka who is a decent person, do you? And it captures the essence of what a "Karen" actually is soooo much better. So just start using Ivanka in place of Karen. It will start small and slow. But together, we can change the world.
