It has become increasingly obvious that many MP's are using social media to spread misinformation, misleading, or simply mistruths on social media.

Often done to whip up their supporters, or simply to gain 'Likes' and 'Retweets'. 

Even when proof of misleading comments are provided, and after the original comments have gained thousands of hits, a follow up retraction or reclarification if virtually ignored by those same  followers, and more often than not, the misleading comment is left visible on their timeline.

This is incredibly damaging for our democracy, when our legal representatives are wilfully misleading the public. 

Complaints to Ofcom go unheeded. MP's should be made accountable for their online content.
