The current lockdown policies that have shut down outdoor patios have crippled Ontario’s hospitality workers and business owners. They have been images of different malls with crowds of people indoors. Churches are allowed to have 15% of their capacity where outdoor dining has been reduced to nothing.

How are these crowded malls, kids returning to school and crowds allowed into religious places deemed safer than a spaced out patio? How is this fair? 

Businesses have been required to spend money on customer safety, plexiglass, hand sanitizer, masks, face shields, signage. This has been for no reason.

The Ford government should review the use of outdoor patios IMMEDIATELY for the current lockdown, before an astounding amount of premises go under.
