WB Games has developed/published many games like the Injustice and Mortal Kombat series, the Arkham Knight games, Scribblenauts and more. WB has recently been put up for sale by their parent company, AT&T, most likely due to the ongoing pandemic. The game company EA is now 'more interested than ever' in acquiring WB Games. This could potentially be catastrophic for many different reasons (*cough cough* microtransactions).

Like many of you, I hate EA for their anti-consumer practices. The Injustice and Arkham Knight franchises are some of my favourite games, and I'd hate to see them being published with pay-to-win mechanics. However, Microsoft is also interested in acquiring WB Games. While this may not be ideal (i.e. the possibility of these games being xbox exclusives), I'd certainly prefer this to microtransactions. We need to show Microsoft that we will be willing to support them with this purchase with our money. Demonstrate your interest by signing this petition, and prove to Microsoft that them acquiring WB Games will be a decision worth their while.
