Vineeta Pandey started this petition to All formal schools in India and

Hi All,

I am a mother of a 4.5 yr old child ,who has just been admitted to a formal school just before the arrival of Corona in the country. My child has yet not started his journey in this school and this global crisis has came off which is affecting everyone mostly the middle class with a single earning member.

The session is yet not started but schools has started asking for fee ,though I agree  alsothat they have to pay to their staff  and need funds for the same. They have started online classes too, to cover the course. The online concept work for kids who study in grades beyond class 1 but for the pre primary classes like play ,nursery and KG these classes don't work as one of the parent has to be involved 100% to make the child understand, as well 70% schools are not even conducting these classes. They are just sending the video and they think their responsibility is done.

So when the need for online classes is not even  their for kids till kg/ukg standard and even teachers don't have to work full time so why the parents are been asked to pay the 100% fee.

When many of the top company are not paying their employees or paying partially how can we trust that these schools are paying their teachers in full.Schools is the most commercialised sector in India which can never go in loss ,still after taking huge admission & development fee from parents in the beginning ,don't they have funds to accommodate their teacher's salary  for a quarter?

Govt should really look for a fee waiver for junior classes as well an assurance to all the parents in India that all the schools are not raising the fee in the next year too just to fix up their losses because most of the companies has said no to hikes and bonus till next year and they will not even adjust it in the coming year so how can school think that way.

Really need government support on this.
