Tyler ashton’s last send out was not deserved at all. Tyler was messing around with a fellow student and the teacher at the time mistook Tyler and his friends innocent playing for dangerous behaviour and gave Tyler a send out (a form of behaviour management, 5 send outs=expulsion) Tyler has also fallen victim to the extreme mobile phone policy at the school which states if a student is caught on the phone they will get a send out. Tyler got 2 send outs for texting his father during a crisis in the toilets and another send out for accidentally breaking his friends calculator which the friend in question acknowledges was an accident. These rules are too harsh and Tyler does not deserve to be punished for a teacher not fully comprehending the situation! We call for Tyler’s last send out and hopefully in the 2 mobile phone send outs to be dropped from his school record. Tyler’s parents have decided to move him to a boarding school 4 and a half hours away from his current school and we, the students of Alkimos baptist college do not support this punishment! What if this was you being moved away from you’re friends and family to a boarding school for 5 weeks at a time because of harsh rules that make no sense? Free our boy Tyler he’s done nothing wrong!!!
