International students studying in Australia are in real danger of imprisonment and violence from the brutal military regime currently in power, if they are forced to return to Myanmar. Australia has a moral obligation to protect these people who are the future of a free and democratic Myanmar. We ask the minister of Immigration, the honourable Alex Hawke MP, and the Prime minister of Australia, the honourable Scott Morrison, to use their powers provided by the people of Australia to grant an indefinite amnesty on expiry dates of visas issued to students from Myanmar.
