Reduction in usage of unnecessary plastic

There is a great deal of unnecessary plastic being used by supermarkets.  Many vegetables and fruit can only be bought wrapped in plastic when it would be very easy to purchase these products with no plastic. Plastic is  very useful but is now being used unnecessarily in many instances. This has resulted in our water and land environments being littered with them, creating unnecessary pollution as well as being the reason why many sea animals/mammals die slow, suffocating deaths, having ingested plastic floating in the ocean.   So it would be great if you join me in trying to make a difference, by, when you  go to Aldi, unpack the unnecessary plastic at their counters after you have paid and let the staff know that it is their responsibility to dispose of it responsibly.
