Students deserve an amazing teacher and the schools should be a priority of the government. Not their private jets or fancy hotel rooms. the future is where our money needs to be going. As a student I know it's hard to come by an amazing teacher. Save this womans job. It's her entire career.

A teacher who has this level of commitment and appreciation from her students is doing life right. We need to support and encourage all of our teachers and educators who are working hard to make a positive difference in the lives of our youth. I can't wait (for real, amiright?) for the next election, when many of you students will be voters.

Thank you for fighting for a great teacher's career! Often times, losing a temporary contract means the end of the career of a teacher before it really begins. New graduates are always favored for contracts in a subsequent year. The CBE needs to cut from the top down if cuts are necessary, and the UCP needs to stick to their initial commitments.

The lay offs are 300% unfair.

As a Sir Winston Churchill HS graduate, I know the value of a great teacher, especially a great Social Studies teacher. I would equally be sad and outraged if the CBE got rid of my former Social Studies teacher late in the year. As a student, you create a bond with a great teacher especially if you mold with their teaching style. Moreover, these kids grades will suffer if they have to make a switch to a new teacher or more than likely, take the course online. While I agree that business is business, there is a point where we need to think of the children and what is moral. Good luck Bulldogs, I hope you can keep you awesome teacher!
