The concerned citizens of Albany would like to voice their opposition to the Cabaret Ordinance and its provisions that require "Live Entertainment" such as Bands, DJs & Karaoke to end at 12:00am during the week and 2:00am on weekends and the restriction that persons under the age of 21 can not be in these establishments after 11pm.
If the City's new Cabaret Ordinance were allowed to be implimented, the affects would be detrimental to the Local Bars, Nightclubs and the small business that depend upon them. People would lose thier jobs, businesses would close and people would no longer come to the Capital of New York State for their entertainment needs. Albany would no longer be the Jewel of the Capital Region.
Please support the Amendment being introduced at the October 1st, 2012 Common Council Meeting.
