In this time of voter suppression and attempts by political operatives to subvert the electoral process, we must stand against the undermining of our democracy.I am running for the office of Mayor in the City of Albany. I secured nearly 500 signatures from Albany voters to back my candidacy. But in a blatant effort of subversion and voter suppression they were "invalidated" by the Board of Elections. Elections should be decided by the vote and the people, NOT by the Board of Elections or by Political Operatives using the Board to shape the election.
