Justice for Rafa & Carlos

Justice for Rafa & Carlos

The Issue

Carlos and Rafael’s family would like to thank you for your endless support during these difficult times. Many of you guys might know the extent of this horrific crime that occurred on Mother’s day in 2010. For those who don’t necessarily know their story, here is a brief summary;

On Mother’s day 2010 Carlos and Rafael were robbed and murdered execution style by Tiara Arnold (17 years at the time) and Isaiah Washington (21 years at the time). Both Tiara and Isaiah handed off the murder weapon (Ak-47) and shot over 30 rounds at close proximity. That was the hardest day both families ever encountered; two best friends murdered in the hands of cold blooded killers.

Carlos and Rafael were inseparable, you would never find one without the other, they were even laid to rest next to each other. Both were looking forward to attending their graduation ceremony and were ecstatic about their future endeavors, however all dreams were cut short when these gruesome killers decided to end their life’s.

This petition is due to new information that has surfaced online regarding Tiana Arnold appealing her verdict before a judge in order to have her case reviewed since she was 17 years old when she committed the murder. It has been 10yrs since she viciously killed Carlos and Rafael, and although both Tiara and Isaiah were sentenced, laws have changed and new ones have been created. Unfortunately for the victim’s family, proposition 57 applies to Tiara who at the time was a minor. If she were to get her petition granted, she would only serve 2 more years in prison and would be released to the general public. She is a danger to society and should not be set free as she has shown no remorse for her actions.

We ask you to kindly support our petition to have her appeal be revoked so she can serve the remainder of her 95 year sentence. The family would greatly appreciate the support.
