Join us in telling the Governor and legislature that we SUPPORT mask directives in K-12 schools (as needed and when recommended by public health experts like the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH). 

Masks are an important way to protect our students, their teachers and other public school staff. 

There are some who are against this and willing to risk other people's health and livelihood in order to make a point that is not accepted by the scientific community: that masks are harmful to children. Studies overwhelming show that masks are NOT harmful; on the contrary they are our best tool to fight COVID-19 in schools, especially in schools where children are too young to get vaccinated at this time. Masking is the best way to keep our schools open and our kids learning in person. 

Sign to show your support that masks should be able to be mandated when needed in schools in our state and to show our Governor that she should NOT include Andrew Sorrell's Anti Mask Bill (that would end protections for our families and school staff when needed) in a special session call in the near future!

We have to organize and come together to use our voices and be heard in order to protect our children, families, school staff and other vulnerable populations in our public education system!
