As a female student in Alabama specifically the Jefcoed district. I realized how sexist the dress code it. I myself have been dress coded for me knee's shoulders and or elbows showing which might i add is stupid.

The reason behind it? To protect girls from boys. This is a really stupid reason. Girls should be able to wear what they want and feel comfortable without being judged. The dress code features a rule of no ripped jeans that expose the legs and or come above mid thigh.

This rule specifiaclly is sexualizing girls. What do my ripped jeans do and why are they dirstating you and hurting you in any way?

Another rule no exposed shoulders. Whats so enticing about shoulders? Whats so attractive about my belly button showing when I lift up my arms. Nothing at all.
