إلي الأستاذة المحترمة نسيبة المطوع وأعضاء مجلس الإدارة المحترمين،

سجلنا أطفالنا في مدرسة الرؤية ثنائية اللغة ، ليس فقط من أجل المستوى التعليمي الممتاز ، ولكن أيضًا من أجل رعاية المدرسة البصيرة للطابع العاطفي والأخلاقي والمستقيم لطلابها. لذلك نرجوا منكم الاستماع إلى استياء الوالدين من إجبارهم على الالتزام بجدول زمني يعرض أطفالنا للخطر! هذا الخطر هو الوصول غير الخاضع للرقابة إلى الإنترنت و لساعات طويلة مضرة للصحة وكسر الروابط الأسرية.

يرجى النظر في المحنة التالية التي نعيشها كآباء:

-يتعين على معظم الآباء الذهاب إلى العمل في الصباح ولن يتمكنوا من الإشراف على أطفالهم أثناء استخدامهم للشبكة. يتفق جميع الخبراء على أن هذا يتعارض مع المبادئ الأساسية لسلامة الأطفال على الإنترنت. (ينطبق هذا على جميع الأعمار وليس فقط في مرحلة رياض الأطفال والأول والثاني الابتدائي).

-الكثير من العائلات لديها أنشطة مسائية وواجبات أخرى و تعد هذه  الفترة الوحيدة المتاحة لهم للتواصل مع بعضهم البعض. إذا كانت الفصول الدراسية عبر الإنترنت في المساء ، فسيؤدي ذلك إلى تعطيل وقت الأسرة وزعزعة سلام الأسرة ووظائفها. تعتبر العلاقات واستقرار الوحدة الأسرية أمرًا بالغ الأهمية لسلامة المجتمع القويم، لذا فإن التعليم ، على الرغم من أهميته القصوى ، لا ينبغي أن يعرض للخطر رسلامة الأسرة نفسها.

-الكثير من العائلات لا تمتلك أجهزة كافية لجميع أطفالهم لحضور الفصول الدراسية في نفس الوقت.

لذلك نطلب بشدة من المعلمين في كل المراحل الدراسية تزويد فصولهم بدروس مسجلة مسبقًا (مقاطع فيديو أعدها المعلم أو عروض PowerPoint مصحوبة بالصوت) تكون موجزة وخالية من ثرثرة أو صور الطلاب الآخرين لأن والديهم لم يمنحوا الموافقة على تسجيل أطفالهم بالصوت أو الصورة.

تكمن فائدة الدروس المسجلة مسبقًا في أنها ستستغرق وقتًا أقل لتغطية المواد نظرًا لأن الدروس المباشرة مليئة بالمقاطعات والتكرار والتعليقات التأديبية التي لا تضيف إلى معرفة الطالب. لذلك ، فإن تقديم دروس مسجلة مسبقًا يعد حلاً مثاليًا ومرنًا لهذه الظروف.

بالإضافة إلى ذلك ، يرغب الآباء في الاختيار بين الدروس الصباحية المباشرة أو المسائية المباشرة حسب ظروفهم الحياتية.

على أي حال ، نطلب بشدة أن تعتبر المدرسة خلال هذه الظروف الاستثنائية حضور الفصول الدراسية المباشرة عبر الإنترنت اختياريًا وطوعيًا بناءً على احتياجات وقدرات و ظروف كل أسرة.

يمكن أن يعتمد تقييم الطلاب إلى حد كبير على مهام الواجبات المنزلية والمشاريع.

أطفالنا أمانة ، سنحاسب و تحاسبون أمام الله إذا عرضناهم للضرر! لنتعاون كي نمنحهم الأفضل!

Dear Ms. Nusaiba Al-Mutawa and respected RBS Board of Directors,

We enrolled our children in Al-Ruya Bilingual School not just for the excellent standard of education but also for the school’s visionary care for the emotional, moral and upright character of its students. Therefore we urge you to listen to parent’s dismay at being forced to adhere to a schedule that puts our children at risk! That risk is unsupervised access to the internet for long, unhealthy hours and the disruption of family time. 

Please consider the following plight that we as parents are in: 

-Most parents have to go to work in the morning and will not be able to supervise their kids while on the net during morning classes. All experts agree that this goes against the basic principles of child safety on the internet. (THIS APPLIES TO ALL AGES NOT JUST KG AND GRADES 1 + 2)

-Many families have afternoon activities and other obligations in the afternoon. If online classes were to be in the evening this would disrupt family time and interfere with the peace and function of the family. The relationships and stability of the family unit is extremely important to the well-fare of a healthy society, so education, although of utmost importance, should not jeopardize the well-being of the family itself. 

-Many families don’t have enough devices for all their children to attend classes at the same time.

Therefore we strongly request that teachers of all grades to provide their classes with pre-recorded lessons (videos prepared by the teacher or powerpoint presentations with audio) that students can access at any time and which are succinct and devoid of the chatter and/or the images of other students (because their parents did not consent to having their children recorded).

The benefit of pre-recorded lessons is that they will take less time to cover the material since live lessons are commonly full of interruptions and repetitions and disciplinary comments that don’t add to the knowledge of the student. Therefore providing pre-recorded lessons is an ideal and flexible solution for these circumstances.

In addition, parents would like the option of choosing between live morning or live evening classes or Q&A sessions.

In all cases, we strongly request that during these extraordinary circumstances the school considers the attendance of live online classes to be optional and voluntary based on the needs and abilities of each family’s circumstances.

Evaluation of students can depend largely on homework assignments and projects.

Our children are entrusted to us and we will all be held accountable before God if we expose them to harm! Let's collaborate to give them the best!
