Let La Canada Video close with dignity!

La Canada Video has been in business for 33 years. My parents (Hamlet and Noriko) started the store in 1981, and it has been recognized by several publications as a landmark video store, and has served it's community of loyal customers. Despite a declining industry, they have stuck by their customers and their community.
LC Video had planned to close on October 31, 2014, due to a significant increase in rent, but in August, their landlord (Al Cabraloff) decided that he wanted them out earlier than planned (despite being current on rent and verbally agreeing to stay in business until October). Despite all efforts, the landlord has proceeded to evict them.
LC Video deserves to have a proper closing. Instead, they are being rushed out of their store and intimidated by their landlord. My parents aren't asking to keep their store open forever. They simply want to close their store based on their original understanding.
