CASTELLANO --- Como ya se ha dicho muchas veces, para nosotros, los dueños de perros, los perros son como nuestros niños. Y más y más personas tienen perro. Solo mira los siguientes numeros;

En Barcelona hay 171.863 niños menores de 12 años y según datos del Colegio de Veterinarios de Cataluña, en Barcelona, hay 170.505 perros. (Números de 2021).

Barcelona tiene un número impresionante de 1.660.314 residentes, sabiendo que hay 170.505 perros registrados (probablemente un número mayor), hay 1 perro por cada 10 residentes, está tendencia sólo hace que crecer y así lo confirman los números. 

Todos estos datos nos hacen pensar en el espacio que ofrece la ciudad para nuestros perros. Éstos necesitan ejercicio y habilidad para jugar al igual que los niños. Esto significa espacios amplios donde puedan correr libremente (sin correa) y jugar con otros perros o humanos. Hay 111 espacios para perros disponibles (algún tipo de pipi can) y alrededor de 800 espacios para nuestros niños humanos.

Por no hablar de los casi 5km de playa frente a los 30 metros de playa de perros que hay en la playa de Llevant.

Nos gustaría solicitar al ayuntamiento que nos proporcione una parte de la playa de 5 km que los perros pueden usar durante todo el año y no solo en el invierno. Nos gustaría proponerles abrir la Playa del Somorrostro para nuestros perros durante todo el año. Ésta es la parte menos concurrida, más cercana al centro de la ciudad y con fácil acceso para muchas más personas que la playa para perros al lado del Forum.

No olvidemos que para la mayoría de nosotros es casi imposible ir a pasear con nuestros perros hasta el final de Llevant durante el típico calor del verano, sin sombra en el camino.

¡Necesitamos al menos 5000 firmas para que la ciudad pueda echar un vistazo! ¡Ayúdanos a llegar a esos 5000!

Not to mention the almost 5km of beach in comparison to the 30 meters of dogbeach all the way on the beach of Llevant.

We would like to request to city of Barcelona to provide us with a part of the 5km beach that the dogs can use all year round. We would like to propose to open Playa del Somorrostro for our dogs all year round. As this is the least busiest part closest to the city center and easy to get to for a lot more people than the dogbeach next to Forum. We don't ask for a special dog beach but a beach that dogs can acces as well. Don't forget for most of us it is almost impossible to go walking with our dogs to the end of Llevant during the typical summer heat, without shade on the way.

We need at least 5000 signatures for the city to have a look! Please help us get to those 5000!
