Many students have tested positive over the break by going to see their families out of city, state, etc. We are in stage 4 of the pandemic and Austin ISD only cares about the money they receive by students showing up to school. This could put families in danger and it could affect many things on the students behalf. Making students come back to school will only make the pandemic worse, giving the students the option to do remote learning would lessen the impact it could bring. By allowing the students who want to go school and letting the ones learn remotely, this could make a very big difference.
