Shane Goldsby, 26, a foster child with a tortured soul from receiving constant physical and mental abuse during his childhood days, the days which are most precious to me… I couldn’t imagine the sort of helplessness Shane must have felt as he heard that pedofile cell mate who raped his little sister, who is still a minor, speak about how he raped Shane’s blood, raped and traumatized her childhood innocent and for the rest of her life, like adults abused Shane’s. For someone to ask to be switched cells, denied, and ignored as he knew what would happen if he stayed in that cell, shows that he never wanted to murder the man who Shane’s sister will never forget and constantly be reminded of as the man who robbed her of any childhood fantasies every child should be able to enjoy. He did everything he could to get away from that man, yet the guards did nothing. Locked away in a cell for 22-24 hours a day with the man who physically raped anybody’s sister would test the limit of any sane man/woman. Shane did what he had to do, but 25 YEARS?
