Why this petition matters

Started by Kevin Soderquist

The new Aster community being developed by Hopewell is purposing to build immediately adjacent to existing properties in the communities of Reunion and Williamstown. During a presentation and Q&A event hosted by Hopewell held on March 2, 2022, there was a lot of interest, questions and concerns around possibly building a green space and/or walking path to divide existing properties in Reunion and Williamstown from the new development. This would ideally connect residents to the existing walking paths and the Williamstown Nose Creek Preserve. We the residents of Reunion and Williamstown ask the City of Airdrie and Hopewell to reconsider the development plan and include a green space and/or walking path on the boarder of Reunion/Williamstown and the new Aster development.
